Thank you everyone for making this an extremely fantastic meeting! More than 106 hams took part in the meeting during the three days we met in Ånnaboda!

Thank you also our sponsors that supplied all the nice prices in our lottery or borrowed us the instruments. Without your great contributions we would not have been able to get this to fly!

It seems like one of the more interesting exercises was to be able to do measurement on 122GHz using the brand new equipment from Rodhe & Schwarz. Their analyzer and the measurements done using it gather a lot of people. (If anyone is interested in buying one I am sure we can arrange a quotation... :) )

On the Sunday we extended the Swedish record on 122 GHz. When I left we were successfully getting 579 reports between Ånnaboda and Kvarntorpshögen. A distance of 28.97 km! The idea was then to try to extend it to 55.09 km. Hopefully they who were about to try made it!

Finally we are already looking forward to meet you next year in Kalundborg, Denmark @ V/U/SHF 2024!

It is a tradition to set up a measurement room for doing measurement on the all rigs and equipment you bring with you to the V/U/SHF meeting. We will of course do the same this year. We have some ideas already of what we will prepare for. But if you have some more specific requirements or ideas we would like to know about them. As I like forms..., we have prepared a form where you can enter your specific requests.

The attached story from QTC May 1980 was kindly sent to me by SM4CHK P-O, "Oscar". He wrote this article back in 1980 after the antenna measurements that were done at Ånnaboda in June 1979. We have gotten his permission to republish it here. It is written in Swedish but most of you will be able to understand it, I hope!

We did almost immediately run out of single rooms. They have six single rooms for our disposal. As seen in the FAQ we will check the price for single use of a double room.

Also the two four beds cottages are booked. Note that all bigger cottages (three or more beds) can accommodate two more people than the size say. This due to that they have a two person bed sofa.
